It's been a while since my last post, I know. I'm sorry. Last week I was in training all week and it took a lot of after hours time as well. Tuesday I didn't get home until 9:15. Wednesday I didn't get home until 10:15 and Thursday I didn't get home until 1:15! Luckily that tough week is behind me and I don't foresee any more like that in the future.

Baby Updates:

- I think I've felt the baby move twice now! Last week Wednesday at 3am I was awake and lying in bed when I felt this tiny jab on the left side of my stomach. Since my pregnancy book says the baby will be most active between 8pm and 6am, I really think it was the baby that I felt. Then today, during a meeting at work, it felt like someone ran their finger across my stomach from the inside. I think it was the baby again! The meeting was a little contentious at times so maybe the baby just wanted to get it's $0.02 in too! :)

- We're having a baby boom here at work. There are seven of us expecting this year now! Robyn in June, Annette in July, me in September, Michelle, Lisa and Tom's wife in October and Ying in November! There's not that many female engineers here and we were joking today at lunch that half of them are pregnant right now! Yay for babies!

- This Saturday, Kris and I are going to do some baby shopping. We'll specifically be looking for a crib, glider/rocker and bedding. We've asked our moms if they'd like to go with us. I have Friday off this week and I'm going to use that day to clean out the rest of my office so it's all ready for painting and decorating!

- Next week Friday (the 16th) is my ultrasound appointment! I can't wait to see the baby! I hope I'm feeling it move consistently by then. I'm not that big but Amanda and Pam said it definitely looks like I'm pregnant. Of course, they know I am so I don't know if someone who didn't know could tell or if they would think I'm just pudgy in the middle. I'll take 20 week pictures next Wednesday and then upload those with the 15 week ones.

- Tomorrow is 19 weeks along! Only 5 more weeks until are baby is viable outside the womb! (meaning it would have a 50% chance of surviving at that point) Each milestone that passes eases my anxiety a bit (first trimester, 20 week ultrasound, 24 week viability, etc.)

And that is all for today.
