24 week appointment update:
- I passed the 1 hour glucose tolerance test. Yay! This means I do not have gestational diabetes.
- My blood pressure, urine and hemoglobin all checked out okay.
- She measured me and timed the babies heartbeat. She didn't tell me what either of these things were so I'm assuming they were fine.
- We talked about preterm labor - what it is, how to stop it and what to do if it doesn't stop.
- I was given the all clear to go to Chicago in July for the Pampered Chef National Conference. I'll be leaving Sunday July 11th and coming back Wednesday July 14th. I'm driving both ways with 5 other Pampered Chef Consultants from my cluster. They are all mommies and will take good care of me. The nurses just said I should stop every couple hours to stretch and empty my bladder. Can do!
I think that's it! I have my 28 week appt on Friday, June 11th at 8:30am. This will be my first appt with a male doctor. After my 28 week appt, I start every other week appointments. Wow! This is all happening so fast, and yet September still seems like a long time from now.
Other news - I painted the green blocks in the baby's room last night. Kris took some of the tape off this morning and it looks so cute!! I think this weekend, he is going to go shopping for paint for the animals. Everything is running like clockwork and right on schedule!
