We had a great time up in Brainerd! We stayed at Causeway on Gull from Sunday through Wednesday. Those accomodations are just beautiful. We had 2 1/2 stories of windows overlooking the lake, a fireplace, a hot tub, a spiral staircase leading to the enclosed loft bedroom above. We also had a full kitchen, a deck with a gas grill, a heated entryway in which we could leave our smelly snowmobiling clothes. It was so nice! Annika did very well in the strange surroundings. She was her normal happy self. And she definitely found her voice and lungs! She's started squealing. She gears up her whole body and lets out these high pitched screams. She's not unhappy, but just screaming for the sake of screaming, I guess. It is the funniest thing. She had us all laughing out loud when she was doing it. We (Grandpa, Marcia, Daddy and me) went out to dinner on Tuesday night and luckily we were the only people in the restaurant because she squealed throughout dinner. I was laughing so hard, I could barely breathe! She is so funny! I can't believe she'll be 5 months old already on Monday! I'll have to weigh her then.
