The landscapers were back yesterday. Kris went outside to talk to them. They finished up all the sprinkler work and told Kris that sod was coming today! I don't really believe them since our yard is still full of weeds. Maybe the sodding company is coming today to start mowing down all the weeds, re-grading the yard (parts have washed away with the rain), etc. and then sod will be here next week. I can't wait!

Annika's friend Brianna has learned how to crawl out of her crib! Scary! I'm sure if Annika wanted to, she could figure it out too. She is a little climber like Brianna is so it might not be too long. I just hope she doesn't start climbing out and then fall. I've already moved all toys and books away from her crib just in case. Usually when Annika wakes up during the night she just stands next to the side of her crib and jumps while whining. She knows Mom or Dad are coming if she does that.

The other night Annika wanted a snack after dinner. She asked first for a popsicle. I said no so then she asked for some ice cream. I again said no so she asked for some boobies. My eyes bugged out as I looked at her and asked her if she really wanted some boobies? She said again boobies. Oh, wait, you want blueberries! Yes, yes, okay, you can have some blueberries and up and to the kitchen we went.

Here's an odd quirk of Annika's for you. Each time we wash Annika's face and hands after eating, she always asks us to wash her feet. Every time. We have no idea why and usually end up running the washcloth or paper towel over her feet.

Each night this week while taking a bath, Annika has asked to get out and go potty. Even though it's annoying to take the dripping child out of the tub and set her on the potty, I do it. I figure at this stage, you can't say no when she asks to go potty. Wednesday night she did the same thing and when I set her on the potty, she actually went and went a lot! Wow! She asked to get out of the tub and go potty! Amazing! Of course, then we she was done taking a bath she went into our bedroom and peed (just a little bit) on the floor. I reminded her that she only goes pee in the potty or in her diaper - not on the floor. Progress is still progress though, right?

I have lots of picture to download from the camera and then upload here. Sorry I haven't gotten to it yet. I'll try, really try, to do it this weekend. We don't have much planned this weekend. Kris is going to help Jon and Michelle move their big furniture out of their condo tomorrow morning but that's the only plans we have so far. I'm hoping it stays that way.
