I have a big list of chores to get done this week and absolutely no energy. Tonight I'm supposed to finish the last detail work on Annika's Christmas stocking and fold/put away the load of baby laundry. Instead, all I want to do is go to sleep. Sleep, sleep, sleep.

Tonight Annika and I ran to Joanne's to get some supplies to finish up Annika's Christmas stocking that I'm cross-stitching for her. We wandered around the store for a little while and then went to the check out line. There was a mom and a little girl, maybe 5 years old, in front of us. The mom had to tell me that the little girl was in love with Annika's name. She has the Annika Barbie movie and now loves the name Annika. She just kept staring at Annika like she was a real life Barbie! It was pretty cute. Then the mom had to ask how old Annika was. When I said two, she said that she looked small for two (um, actually she's taller than most two year olds but whatever) but that she certainly didn't sound young! Annika was talking up a storm. And she speaks pretty clearly too. I had to agree with that one.

OK, I'm going to drag myself to get one of my chores done and then I'm collapsing into bed. Exhausted. I am exhausted.
