OK, so, Blogger is giving me weird errors when I try to publish. It didn't publish yesterday's post. Let's see if it will publish todays.

My OB appt this morning was quick. That means everything is A-OK. BP and weight are good. I asked about all the contractions so she did a quick cervix check. Everything there is as it should be. She said this is now my baseline (about 2/hour or so). If they start getting more frequent or if they change in any way (discharge, pain, etc.) then I am to call right away. She said I'm just lucky enough to have an irritable uterus and that I should keep my activity light or about the levels they are now. No running 5K's, no long shopping trips, etc.

The rest of the day was spent standing on my feet (um, what was that up there about "light activity" and "activity levels as they are now?"). It was my annual holiday baking day with Mary and Amanda. It was at my house and I did rest when I felt I needed it. We made six different kinds of cookies and they all turned out great! the nice thing about doing this with two other people is we usually only make one batch of each type and each person goes home with some of that batch. This way you don't end up with a million cookies but maybe a dozen of each. That's more manageable even though some usually end up coming to work with me to be given away. That's still a lot of cookies for three people to eat!

Annika was pretty good all day too. Kris was home to help take care of her too so I didn't have to worry about my cookies, the oven, and her all at the same time. We watched some Christmas movied and then at the end of the day, Annika asked to watch Cinderella. Except she pronounces it Cinderlella. It's pretty cute. And when we were watching the Jim Carrey "Grinch That Stole Christmas" she kept calling him the grouch instead of the grinch. Maybe a little too much Sesame Street for her, you think?

She didn't even eat that many cookies today. She ate a bit of a peanut butter blossom and I gave her a sugar cookie topped with icing. Instead of eating that cookie though she just licked all the icing off. And then when I wasn't looking, she grabbed another and ate the icing off that one too. I learned my lesson and moved the cookies to where she couldn't reach them. Sneaky little miss!
