I have felt absolutely fine all day. I've had hardly any contractions and those that I have had didn't bring with them much cramping and no back aches. Who wants to bet this baby will have a February birth date? I fully expect to be at work tomorrow. Of course, I felt just fine the day I went into labor with Annika too. Kris and I took Mara to the dog park that day before settling in for a nice afternoon and evening. It was Labor Day 2004. I had my first real contraction that night at 11:30pm. While it's possible that could happen again, does lightning really strike twice?

Annika picked up a new phrase today. It's "Aaaaahhhh, nope!" When asked if she wants to give Papa and Uncle Dusty hugs and kisses good-bye, (They were here when we woke up from our nap today. You should have seen Annika scramble down off the bed and head for the door when she heard that!) that's her response. If you ask her to do something or ask her if she has to go to the bathroom, that's what you get. While her delivery is adorable, I could do without the 'no' part of it!
