We got a couple more inches of snow this morning which made the drive to and from church slippery and slimy. Annika usually behaves herself really well during church. Sure, sometimes she talks too loudly and we end up shushing a lot but otherwise she likes the singing and she really likes the bell choir our church has. Our church has these little bags of toys available for the kids during the service. Today's bag had a bunch of felt pieces cut into different shapes. Annika played most of the time rearranging the felt pieces and putting them back in their box, then taking them out and playing again, etc. At one point she lined up three felt babies and then named them Uncle Adam, Auntie Carrie and Baby Moses. Kris and I looked at each other and giggled. We're, of course, happy that Annika remembers Adam and Carrie and thinks about them. But what we were really giggling about is that Annika remembered one of her books from home that has a Baby Moses in it and she pulled that out during church. How appropriate!

All is fine on the baby front. No news. He's active but apparently content to stay where he is. I appreciated the calls I got today from my Dad and brother to check on me. And my mom has instituated a new rule too. I have to call or e-mail her every morning when I get to work to tell her that I'm fine. Doesn't it make you feel good when you have so many people caring about you?
